Papaver rhoeas. RedCorn Poppy is a hardy annual with large blooms in shades ranging from white to pink to red. It prefers well-drained soil with lots of sun. Plant in the late fall in the south, and the early spring in the north. Grows to around 2 feet and blooms through March to July. Plant 2 lbs. per acre.
Soil temperature for optimum growth is between 60 to 70 degrees. |
